Satguru Prem

Guru Ramdas Ji had three sons, eldest was Prithia and the youngest one was Guru Arjandev Ji Maharaj. Of his three sons, the youngest was his favorite and obedient. In yonder days, people would come and invite Guru to attend family functions and they too would oblige.

In the same manner once, a family from Lahore visited Guru Ramdas Ji in Amritsar and invited him to attend a family wedding. Guru Ramdas Ji was busy and instead offered the services of his youngest son Arjandev Ji. He ordered his youngest son to accompany the family and attend the festivities and also to hold regular satsang’s. Guru Arjandev Ji like an obedient Sikh left his hometown. However, Guru Ramdas Ji requested him not to come back until and unless he himself calls him back from Lahore.

Soon the festivities were over, weeks and months went by. A true Sikh and a premi can never stay away from his Guru. He will die if he does so. For him, his Guru is everything – his life and soul! Guru Arjandev Ji never doubted his father, so held his urge to return home. However, he could not help feeling lonely and desperate without his Guru’s darshan. In those days, there were no emails or postal service either. Messages if any were sent along with someone who would be heading that way.

Guru Arjandev Ji too in his virah for his Satguru wrote a few verses and decided to send them as a message. He penned them down on a piece of paper and handed it over to a sewadar visiting Amritsar. He numbered it as well. He instructed the sewadar to hand over his personal message to his Guru Ramdas Ji.  read more »

Story of Creation and Separation of Soul from Supreme Being

The separation & Story of Creation -

There are many hypothesis as to why we are here and why did the creation take place!!! Views now being put forth below are from a direct mystical experience – however references can be found from Gnostic literature too!!

Why did the creation take place? Why are we here?

Difficult question!!! Why don't we MEET God and ask him instead??

Well in some ways the query has been answered already, one needs to go through Gnostic literature and teachings of Mystics, perfect Masters!!! I will try my best to explain it to you. However if one wishes to know what prompted him to create this creation, words are insufficient - one needs to be on the spiritual plane!!! Language alone is insufficient to answer this query!!!

It is mentioned in Gnostic literature that initially all souls and the Lord or Supreme Being were one and very happy. Some of the souls wished to see "Creation" or something that was different from their divine abode, hence the Supreme Being "Created" this maze!!!

For some Souls who were apprehensive of losing their identity and getting lost in this creation, this idea was seen as a direct threat!!!

Once "Creation" took place souls who were willing or rather responsible for urging Lord to create it, willing left HIM and entered into this creation!!! Very few Souls who were rather afraid of being lost - remained with HIM!!! The Lord however sent them to this Creation with a promise, if by any chance they cannot find their way back home, he himself would send a messenger to collect them!!!  read more »

Qualities of a Guru, Mystic and Perfect Master

In the domain of spirituality one comes across tons of people who claim themselves as Guru’s or Mystics. So, what are the qualities of a Guru, Mystic or perfect Master? Indirectly who can qualify to lead us on our journey homeward bound?? What does history has to say about past Masters and Mystics?

If we analyze history objectively we will come to conclusions mentioned below ~

  • A Mystic or Guru earns his own livelihood
  • He will never accept charity
  • He himself would have traveled the spiritual path and now preaches the technique to his disciples. He will be Baptizing and initiating people with the 5 names of the nobles that the Bible is referring!!
  • They appoint their own successors while they are still alive.
  • They never advertise themselves, they remain hidden from public!!

Why did I list these qualities? Allow me to give examples –

1) A Mystic will earn his livelihood and never accepts charity

Jesus himself earned his livelihood and gave others in charity. He did not accept anything from his disciples as charity.

Guru Nanek was himself a farmer – he earned his livelihood!!

The same goes for Prophet Mohammad, Socrates, Tau, Rai Das Maharaj!!!  read more »

Answers to The Guru Part 1

Hello Everyone

I raised quite a few queries in my first Blog "The Guru Part 1"
regarding common rituals followed by all religions on this Planet!!

The rituals are Illumination and then the Sound!!!

Why is this so?

Readers who have been following my Blogs, will already have their answers!!! However for the sake of clarity am mentioning them as a separate Blog!!!

Answer ~

When we read in the Bible - the Supreme Being or God said "Let there be
creation", "Let there be Light" - the CREATION took place by an utterance or a verbal command from Supreme Being.

So the energy, the force, the creative power, the God issued a verbal
command and Creation took place - the creation could not survive
without illumination - so he said "Let there be Light"!!!

So the creative power - Supreme Being is in reality an energy, a force
that emits Light and Sound - the Celestial music Socrates described as
the Music of the Spheres!!!

Even the Granth Sahib - the sacred book of Sikh's says - Ek Noor Te Sab Jag Upjeya and so on and so forth!!!

Saints, Mystics and Perfect Masters have come in
every nook and corner of this planet - the God himself came as Jesus,
Prophet Mohammad, Guru Nanak, Rumi, Socrates, Tau, Rai Das Maharaj and
so many other countless Mystics!!!

All of these Mystics and perfect Masters had one message to convey -
God is the Light and he is the Sound that created this Creation - Seek
the Light!!!  read more »

Karma - seeds of ensnarement!!

The law of the greater Mind by which souls, under the influence of their individual minds are brought back into the labyrinth of birth and death. It is an automatic and natural law of cause and effect which exacts strict justice rather than mercy and forgiveness. The record of Karma is held within the Mind as the impressions in seed from all thoughts, actions and desires ever entertained or performed by an individual. Karma can be categorized as being of three kinds:

Destiny Karma - the events of life which are fixed at the time of birth and which have to be undergone. they are the effects, good and, of previous actions, thoughts and desires from previous lives. Destiny is etched or pre-programmed into the complex fabric of our human mind and is outwardly expressed from there, over the course of a lifetime.

New Karma - new actions and desires, performed or entertained in the present life, which become seeds or mental impressions for the destiny of future lives

Stored Karma - in one lifetime, an individual may gather more new karma than can be paid off in just one future life. Any balance of this 'unused' karma goes into 'storage'. Over the span of aeons, this store of karma becomes a great weight upon the soul, keeping it bound to the wheel of birth and death. this continues indefinitely, until the soul has he good fortune to meet a Master who has come from beyond the realm of karma and has the power to release souls from the Mind, by taking responsibility for the payment of this vast debt!!!  read more »

Gnosis, Gnostics, Gnosticism

Gnostics

A name given by scholars to any of a wide variety of mystics, or mystically-minded persons, who are characterized by the understanding that there exists a mystic or revealed knowledge (gnosis) by which all things can be known, especially the nature of the Self, God and all things of His creation. Hence Gnosticism.

Gnosis

Literally, knowledge, in particular mystic knowledge - an inner, revealed knowledge of God and workings of His inner creation; an understanding which stems from direct mystic experience rather than intellectual analysis.

A common platform for people who have experienced spirituality on spiritual planes, rather than theological hairsplitting!!
