The Prayer Of Shiva To Sri Radha

O Sri Radha!Your lotus feet are worshiped by the best of sages,

You destroy the lementation of the three worlds.

Your smiling face resembles a fully blossomed lotus flower.

You enjoy pastimes in the groves of Vrindavana.

You are the daughter of King of Vrsabhanu.

You are the queen of the son of the King of Braja.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha! You remain situated in the grove

made of creepers under an Asoka tree.

Your two lotus feet ar as aeffulgent and soft

as bestower of benediction to the devotees.

You are always eager to create fearlessness

in the minds of the devotees.

You are the proprietor of unlimited opulence.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha! You always keep Krishna,

the son of Nanda, under your control

by throwing a crooked glance at Him

while enjoying amorous pastimes with Him

and discussing sweet topics with Him.

You suddenly make Krishna struck with wonder

by frowing Your eyebrows.

O Sri Radha! Your brightly shining bodly effulgence

is just like lightning, or gold or a campaka flower.

The glittering rays of Your lotus-like face

defeat the beauty of millions of autumn moons.

Your restless eyes, which produse a wonderful sight

at every moment, are just like two restless cakora birds.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha! You are always intoxicated by the pride

of Yur exquisite beauty and youthfulness.

Your blissful feignng anger is Your best ornament.

You are always inflated with attachment for Krishna.

Among all the gopis, You are the most expert in the art of love affairs

within the groves of Vrindavana.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha! You are decorated with unlimited symptoms of ecsasy and emotions.

You are also adorne with qualities like patience,and so on.

You wear a diamond necklace on Your neck.

Your breasts resemble two golden water pitchers.

Your sweet and enchanting smile

is just like an ocean of transcendental bliss.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha! Your lotus arms are just like

new lotus stems which swing to and fro

by the movement of the waves.

The glance of Your blue restless eyes is as flickering

as the tip a creeper which dances by the blowing of the breeze.

You are charming, attractive and the enchanter of cupid.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha!You are nicely decorated with golden necklaces.

Your beautifull throat resembles a conch which has three lines on it.

You are adorned with three golden chains

with three jewels of different colors n the middle.

You look dazzlng because of the effulgence

emanating from these jewels.

Your curly hear is decorated with a bunch of fragrant flowers.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha! Your waist is decorated with

a jewel-studded waist band and flowers.

The sweet sound of this band is worth glorifying.

Your thights resemble the trunks of elephants.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha! The sweet tinkling sound of Your golden ankle bells

reflects the Vedic mantras and their sound vibrations.

These ankle bells appear to be two charming swans.

When You walk these ankle bells appear to be like

golden creepers entwinded at Your lotus feet.

When will you make me the recipent of Your merciful glance?

O Sri Radha! You are the queen of all sacrifices,

You are the queen of all pious activities,

You are the queen of Vrindavana,

You are the queen of the demigods,

You are the queen of Vedic knowledge,

You are the queen of Vedic evidence,

You are the queen of the goddes of fortune,

You are the queen of forgiveness,

and You are the queen of Ayodhya.

O Queen of Braja!

O predominating deity of Vrindavana,

I offer my obeisances to You.

O daughter of Vrishabanu! Please accept this humble prayer of mine

and make me qualified to receive Your merciful glance

and to become an eternal servant to You.

Simply by Your mercy all my accummulated sinful reactions

will be vanquished and I will immediatly become qualified

to enter into the eternal association of Krishna.
